Victoria Park Pool is a high-use, 50-metre outdoor swimming facility located in inner-city Sydney. As part of the City of Sydney’s commitment to achieving net zero emissions by 2035, the centre recently underwent a major heating system upgrade, replacing all gas-fired boilers with a fully electric solution.
Working with Image Air Conditioning, the facility now operates on 100% renewable electricity, powered by a combination of rooftop solar and a certified green Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). At the core of the new system are three EvoHeat CS-i 250 commercial inverter heat pumps, delivering high-efficiency, reliable heating across the 8-lane pool — year-round.
Designed for performance and precision, the CS-i series uses advanced inverter technology to adjust output to real-time demand, reducing energy use and improving temperature stability. The system is integrated into a Building Management System (BMS), enabling smart control, remote monitoring, and long-term energy optimisation.
This project marks a significant step forward in the electrification of public aquatic facilities, with EvoHeat proud to play a central role in supporting the City of Sydney’s clean energy transition.
