Located in the heart of Sydney, Victoria Park Pool is a popular 8-lane, 50-metre outdoor swimming facility that recently underwent a major energy efficiency upgrade. As part of the City of Sydney’s broader commitment to reducing emissions and phasing out fossil fuels, the existing gas pool heating system was replaced with three EvoHeat CS-i 250 commercial inverter heat pumps.

Designed for year-round operation, the CS-i series offers exceptional performance, even in colder conditions, while maintaining high energy efficiency and low operating costs. The new system is powered by 100% renewable electricity, with solar panels installed onsite to further support the transition to sustainable energy use.

This upgrade not only enhances swimmer comfort but also aligns with the City of Sydney’s sustainability goals — reducing reliance on gas infrastructure and supporting net zero emissions targets.
